Our Story, and WHY we created this website


You Wont believe this until you read it!

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Joseph, and my wife Megan and I are just one of thousands of Monarch Owners who have fallen in love with San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo Azul Resort. 

This resort holds very special memories for our family;  we adore the town of San Jose and the people that live here, we were married here in 2010, have met family here from around the world, and we meet new life-long friends here every year.  Like many other families, we work very hard for 50-weeks each year so that we can come to our 'second home' in sleepy San Jose for what we consider to be paradise in every aspect.

  7. Isn't anyone complaining how monarch owners are not able to deposit their points in order to extend 2 more years. They advertise how you can get more out of your points by depositing your points to extend two more years, so your actual points don't expire in 2 years. I had asked interval international and was told as of January 2014 we can no longer deposit. So we are limited in our exchange options when you are not able to use your points within 2 years. Interval international charges us membership like everyone else and we don't have the same service given to us like they should. Now why should we join diamond resort club membership and pay $50 a month , interval international membership fees, plus exchange fees. That is too much, now if you want to upgrade and by diamond resort point it will cost us additional $40,000.00. I recommend everyone keep their share and write Steven Clloobeck to allow us recieve the same service as advertised by Interval international. Who can we report this illegal action to?

    1. We were told tonight by Diamond at the scam dinner tonight that Interval will not accept any banking of points from Monarch as of this year and are that we should try to get our money back from them.

  8. I am also interest in the lawsuit. Is there any new information? Went to a Diamond dinner today and all the same lies were told to us. We would not convert to Diamond and they said we only have 7 resort and they are mostly like a Hotel 6 and are very run down. We were told that we had until midnight today or the amount to go over to Diamond would cost over double. We would not sign the paper to decline that and left

  9. Is this site still active? I don't see any recent comments, although I've followed it for 3 years.... I am still a MGV owner although I also have bought a few DRI points. My family still goes to Cabo Azul for a week every year -- it is our favorite place in the world. I wonder after reading again thru all these comments, how many MGV owners are left at Cabo Azul? I am still able to book a reservation if I do it a year in advance, but haven't been able to get an upgrade to a penthouse (from a 2 bedroom ocean view) as promised when I bought the DRI points. I am suspicious of their answer that one is 'not available.''
